Boil spinach with few drops of water for 5 mins. Allow it to cool and mash it using blender.

Add 2 spoons of oil. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, Asafoetida, garlic and onion pieces. Fry theses things until onion turns golden brown color.

Add mashed spinach into the pan and boil it for 3 mins.
