かぶ のかにあんかけ

Couldn't get the smaller Japanese turnip this year,but thanks to my sushi chef friend,he got hold of some for me from his supplier,here is one that I made with them.

懐石料理みたいでもあり、中華料理風でもあるね。
小ぶりの蕪は、手に入らないときもあるよね。小さいのを見つけると、形を活かして使いたくなります。

For me it's more like washoku,does this seems Chinese to you?May be it has Chinese influence...
The kabu was really good quality,I thought a crab 'an' would be a nice treat for me and kabu!
