Baked Japanese Kintoki Sweet Yum

This simple Oyatsu(dessert) always remind me of my childhood ♡

To: LOSANGELES Good morning chef. You are up so early! yes, I'm Japanese. Living in SF for almost 18 yrs. It was my first time seeing Kintoki yum in Japanese grocery store in SF. Who could resist buying such goodie, right? Haha

Up early...haha...still awake! Work at night and cant sleep when i get home! I work in downtown and go to little tokyo for produce all tje time...the other day i got really nice persimmons and made salad...do you make everything that you post? Do you work in a kitchen?

So many things i want to know about your foods :)

To: LOSANGELES oh, I see. I work early in the morning. Wake up at 4:30 and start prepping at 6:00 then finish around noon. I go to work 3hrs earlier than other kitchen crews so I can use the entire kitchen all by myself. Haha.
