One more tea dessert!
This time matcha set with agar,I could eat this everyday!

先日のほうじ茶のデザートも美味しそうだったし、抹茶も一段と美味しそう♡
中村藤吉からインスピレーションって言っていたね？
京都、宇治市の本店で私も食べたことがあるよ！あのお店の抹茶ゼリーは本当に美味しいね😊 抹茶が濃くて、ゼリーの食感が滑らか。

Yes,Makiko,I love all kind of teas,especially Japanese,I get very excited about dessert made with tea too.The houjicha jelly was great,and I have matcha at home,so I tried it with agar,I am sure you know the textures are quite different,but both delicious to eat.I love uji's 中村藤吉，but I used a recipe from 丸久小山園 book,perfect recipe,cooling down the mixture quickly in ice water is essential.
However,I used matcha from 富凙商店,strong and nice colour,and not expensive,doesn't make sense buying expensive matcha for making dessert...

Yes,tomizawa opened stores corners in the two supermarkets in HK,just like Japan.
Same as you,I do many shopping in Tomzawa,quality is guaranteed!This packet was bought in Japan,I used to buy my stuffs when I was there,but these days the ones in HK carries many items,and price is not much different from Japan too.So I could save luggage space for other things from now...
As Yukari told me,there is special matcha powder for baking,colour stays nice and green even heated,this is what I used,labelled as '製果用抹茶'！

最近看見有抹茶拉麵，想去吃😅
