Love the way it was served at Belgium,one big pot was brought to the table.

It was a wonderful experience for me to have mussels in Belgium!
This one is meant to be really simple.Sauté shallots and bacon in butter,add cider,mussels,thyme,salt(depends on saltiness of mussels),pepper,cover and steam til they open,finish with cream and more butter!Please try!
