Calf liver in caramelized onion sauce

One of the regular dinner at my boarding school and I crave for it every now and then.Many people have bad impression on school meals,but my school had many fine ones!

I have very good memories of the food there.That time they were just some good old traditional dishes,but always done right so I didn't have to crave for home food too much.Indeed when I was at lower grades,I had to fight(not like real fight😁) for more to keep me from hungry,but when I became more senior,I had priority for the all the second servings,that's how boarding schools on UK work...
Sorry to hear it wasn't happy enough for you at boarding school,it could be scary sometime too,let's just say we are lucky it's all over for us!!
