Fettuccini with bacon and parsnip

みんなの投稿 (3)
Parsnip is not a tradition ingredient to be found in a pasta, but it was Jamie Oliver's idea,I still remember how he did this on TV,using a slicer to slice the parsnip into thick long strips, matching the fettuccine.I had some leftover parsnip for the roast chicken dish last week, about time to make this again, really is a lovely dish!

I like Jamie's cooking, very straight forward and always delicious! No wonder he is loved by so many people!
But this recipe is from one of his earliest book, the interest thing is he uses a peeler to make parsnip strips to match the size of fettuccine,(that's why it's hard to find in the photo),I love the sweetness the parsnip brings to this dish!Highly recommended,if you could find parsnip!
