Tom Yum Prawns

Prawns
800gram
Bird's eye chili

Red chili pepper

Garlic
5 cloves
Tom yum paste
2 Tbsp
Lemongrass
2 stalks
Kaffir lime leaves

Thai chili paste

Water

作り方

Peel and devein prawns. In a bowl, add in the prawns, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and set aside.

In a blender, add in bird's eye chili, red chili pepper, garlic, lemongrass and onion. Add a little water and grind it to a paste.

Heat up a pan and add some oil. Saute the paste until fragrant and oil separates.

Add in tomato and kaffir lime leaves. Saute until tomato softens.

Now add in tom yum paste and thai chili paste and saute well for about 5 minutes. Then add in water and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Add in prawns and allow prawns to cook in the gravy. Once the prawns has changed colour to pink, its ready to serve.
