After seeing those from Makiko San,I have been wanting to make some for so long,unfortunate the supply of hijiki in HK is very unsteady,and they were nowhere to be found,there came my help,Yukari bought me some when she came last month.These is my second batch,the first one did taste good but shape
was terrible due to the mix being too wet.Then I switched to a stiffer tofu after hearing some advice from Yukari,this one turned out much better.I never had がんも freshly fried like these and I have to say,they taste out of this world,for something with ingredients and seasonings as simple as this,it's just too good,I had to hold myself hard from finishing all of them,I wanted to leave a few for a 煮物 dish... I had 豆腐、ひじき、しだけ、枝豆、ゴホウ、にんじん in the mix. Thank you girls again,delicious food made

You are so right,がんもis so amazingly good eaten just fried!It was big fail for me last time,the mix was too wet even thought I pressed out the water from tofu,I actually used the wrong type.So this time I make sure I got the right type,and all the procedure too.With this one I could roll in the hands,and shape came out better,I probably ate too many because they were so delicious! Yep,I would say it's pretty successful for me,at least it tasted great,really thanks to your advise,the type of tofu and no steeping of hijiki,I will make these very often from now on,mega love!I am not too familiar with these,and I hope you are not exaggerating saying they look like from old standing shop,I am really happy to hear.I realize there are many composition with ingredients,I just went for the seasonal and my favorite ones,burdock was not included in my first batch,but I had some leftover from the bird nest kimpira,so I added them in too,it was even better!
