Thank you!I first learned this from a Japanese food magazine years ago and I have been making it ever since.You know one of those cheap weekly ones,occasionally I would find a good recipe in them.Original uses unagi and sauce made with unagi だれ,but I could only find anago that day.I am sure you know
how to prepare eggplant too,grill them black and peel.Sprinkle 粉山椒too if you like.Please try this sometime,it's great combo I promise you,and you will make this again and again!

This eggplant is grilled (焼き),until skin is black,and peel,sauce is made with soy sauce,sake,mirin and sugar,it's very delicious,please try!

Though I looked for a Jerusalem artichoke, I did not sell! Are there the ingredients which I can substitute? I was surprised st a Jerusalem artichoke being able to be great!

Hi Miki San,I am not surprise,it's a little hard to find in Japan,even if you could,it might not be the same,the ones I get here is imported,and a had a strong earthy aroma,and I think Japanese ones are weaker.And I really can't think of any substitution that could match it too,it's has a special f
flavour,may be,just may be,くわい,but let me try it first,and I let you know.I am sorry I couldn't help much with this...

I wanted to feed it it and heard it, I just left the hospital and ate rice gruel and thought that it was just right yesterday! I go to the farmhouse direct product market and look for it.
