I thought calzone is usually crescent in shape. Looks so good and very professional!

Same here in New York.
As you pointed out, Calzone is a folded pizza, usually shaped like a half-moon.
However, you can see this in Capricciosa, Japanese Italian restaurant chain in Japan.
My husband got an idea from there😊
It’s also good for a party dish 🎉
