It's pear season!Apart from apples,it's another type of fruit I really love when it's cooked. Boil up a bottle of red wine, add sugar, orange peel, and spices,in go the pears, and simmer till tender, served with mascarpone. It's hard to imagine something that simple could be so good!
Thank you Makiko!Only very basic poached fruit, but the pairings make it very special and delicious, like the spices and mascarpone, sometimes the most basic things are best! Wine lover like you will love this! And good use with the leftover poaching liquid too!
That's very kind of you!I thought these are something quite casual and rustic,I wasn't aiming to impress too much, but I am glad they did, appreciate that!
Thanks for your reply. I'm interested that finding some beautiful and authentic things in casual or daily scene. I would be glad if you understand what I mean... It's hard to express you with my English skill... Anyway I love it! Great work, rick!!🙌🏼✨
Hi Lara,I absolutely get you,you have good eyes and great taste, and the ability to pick up the tiniest details, that's why I am so happy you approve this! I also like the 'casual' scenes, but still need to work out how to make them pretty at same time!Your encouragement means a lot to me,big thanks!

You cooked them whole, so stylish and gorgeous. Combination with mascarpone, I think it will be mild.
