Idea from SD legend,Yukari! More cold food, this time a chawamushi, the ume adds lovely tartness which is great for summer, and the ツュンサイ provides some wonderful jelly like texture,so good! Yukari,I appreciate so much for the help, also thankful for all the good things you have left here!
Good morning Rick. SD legend Yukari gave me many ideas. I miss her😭 Junsai is very traditional food for Washoku, especialy in Kyoto. Your cold Chawanmushi is beautiful!
Hi レイ San!Thank you for the comment! Good to know you like じゅんさい,I fell in love with it too.We use it in Chinese cuisine but it's the Japanese じゅんさい dishes I love most.Although not much taste,it has a wonderful texture, pretty to look at too! Like you said, there are many ways using it,I still have to explore some more. These cups are Chinese style, hand painted by artist,I treasure them a lot, glad to hear you like them!
Thank you Makiko! I had junsai at home,I asked Yukari what I should do with it,and she reminded me she has s cold chawamushi made with it,and it was absolutely the thing I wanted to make,I thank her so much for her guidance in food, and some other things... Such a loss she doesn't come here, luckily she has left enough good dishes! I realize many chefs love to use junsai in summer, especially washoku and kaiseki places,it really has a wonderful texture and so pretty to look at too!
Thank you so much for the information,I have better understanding now,じゅんさい really is precious stuff! I will expect more delicious dishes from レイ San too,see you soon!

じゅんさい 愛らしいですよね✨
じゅんさい畑は 沼になっているので
箱舟に乗って 収獲するそうですよ。
落ちないように しなければ。
素敵な 器 大切になさって下さい😃✨
