Beet tartar,cheese ball with pistachio,endive and apple salad,olive oil and balsamic

ビートタルタル、チーズボールピスタチオ添え、エンダイブとリンゴのサラダ、オリーブオイルとバルサミコ。
Everything suggests that this is a winter dish,but who cares,all salads are meant to be summer dishes for me!
Cheese ball was made with some soft and hard cheeses I found in the fridge,then mixed with shallot,lemon juice,and pistachio.
How did you make this beet tartar salad? Did you marinade?
Does not know much recipes using the beet, there are very interesting in this.
because I am anemic lately, I'm eating beet :o

Actually calling this "tartar" because it looks like beef tartar served like this.It's simple to make,wrap beet in tin foil,with some salt ,pepper ,thyme ,then roast in oven 190°C,about 1 hr(or you could just boil in water),test with a skewer so it's soft inside ,cooled than chopped,mix in olive oil
,salt and pepper,and that's it.Cut it any way you like,and pair with other veggie,or pesto too.Please eat more beet,it's healthy and delicious!Take care,my friend!

Hi Turbee San,you are right,suppose to be a winter dish,but I almost never eat cold salad in winter,instead I have been thinking about beetroot lately.These might not be at their best in summer,but still good enough for me.And yes,apple,balsamic and cheese are heavenly together!Thank you for resnap

對啊,水果跟起司是完美配搭來的!但不知為什麼,在日本總是很少遇過甜菜根。近來在這邊是很易找的東西,相信種植不太困難,價錢也十分便宜,這樣有益又美味的食物,找到的話要多吃一點啊!
