We actually just call it 牛蒡，I wrote 'gobo' only it's easier to write.I cooked the ゴボウin water,then simply mixed with carrot,steamed chicken and mayo.About the shredder,I got it in a big shop that sells kitchen tools at 合羽橋道具街，Tokyo,but that was long time ago,and I didn't see them last time I went,an

,anyway you could try if you happen to go there.It's made by 'peel appeal' from Switzerland.It's very good!

Actually I'm into vintage stuffs too,especially wood that has some history,I found them in a wood furniture store,they were just parts of a door somewhere in old China and got taken down,I love the grain and colour,but don't know what do do with them yet,may be shelfs or a table,anyway I put them t

Yes,vintage man is liking all vintage stuffs now,not only furniture,I like all vintage plates and dishes,flatwares, Oriental and Western.Always love to visit second hand markets when I go away.
Well,I could handle minor repairing and handy job at home,I think it's challenging,but really not capable

of building large furniture.This one is just for temporary,it might have to be taken apart when I decide what to do,but I think it will fall apart itself even before that😰.
I am always happy you like my sandwiches.The tool is made by Swiss company 'peel appeal',real simple to use,just hold two sides

with fingers,and slide down against the burdock.It's very sharp,and I just found it best for me amongst similar products.Thank you for all resnaps!
