Banh xeo/バインセオ

It's kind of a Vietnamese crepe.
Batter made with rice flour,coconut milk,turmeric,etc,and the filling has beans sprout,pork,shrimp,onion and split mung bean.
May be a lesser known Vietnamese street food item,but still very delicious when made right,and I found one when I was traveling in Hanoi.
Vietnamese cuisine is truly amazing,so many great dishes,I think I will never get bored eating it!

I've traveled in Ho Chi Minh.
And found Vietnamese foods matched Japanese taste preferences.

Shrimp pepper salt which I bought in a supermarket is my favorite seasoning.

Not surprise to know Japanese like Vietnamese food,fresh herbs,noodles,seafood and rice products are all so appealing!
The banh xeo I had in Hanoi was amazing,mine's not even half as good!I learn that food differs from north to south of Vietnam,so please make a trip to Hanoi and sample all those wonderful dishes too!
