いわし柳川鍋

Just a simple weeknight dinner.
Love all 柳川鍋,but when I searched for this sardines version,the name新宿割烹中嶋 came up a lot,it must be their signature dish.I went there once,but I didn't pick 柳川鍋,may be next time...

I heard of this place long time ago,it's loved by so many people,known for it's good cooking and affordable lunch!Perfect for traveller on a budget like me!
But I didn't know sardines 柳川鍋 is their signature dish,I guess 柳川鍋 is not made with sardines usually.

So iwashi is not often used in 柳川鍋...I don't know much about it,but I had some fresh sardines and I want some kind of nabe,I remember I once saw this...

Glad to hear you like 割烹中嶋 too,it's very popular at lunch time,last time I tried to avoid the queue,I went there late,but sashimi was sold out,it must be delicious,now confirmed by you.Also 柳川鍋 was popular too,there were many orders.Next time,I hope to try these.
I found fresh sardines,and I thought of 柳川鍋,I haven't done it many times,glad that it came out good!
