I've never thought of how じゅんさい is spelled in 漢字. Tks. Lol.

Used in Shanghai cuisine too,sometimes called 蒓菜 or 蓴菜.Actually I am not too familiar with this.
Ah! That's understandable.We don't have both of the first 漢字, though.
This is usually sold in a bottle and used for お味噌汁 here in Japan.
