Revina (semolina cake)

sugar
350g
self-raising flour
100g
eggs

milk
20cl
semolina
200g
lemon zest

lemon juice

almonds (peeled)

作り方

cream butter with 150g sugar.
Add egg yolk one at a time and mix well.
Add lemon zest,flour,milk,semolina and mix well.

whip egg white nd incorporate in cake mixture.
bake at 170degrees C for 40-45 mins

Prepare syrup :
bring 20cl water to a boiladd the remaining sugar and lemon juice.
simmer for about 5-10 mins.
leave to cool

when the cake has cooled down , moistened it with the syrup.
decorate with almonds.
Ready to be eaten
