Orange chiffon cake

Orange juice

Cake flour

Baking powder

20cm/ 8 inch
作り方

Sift the baking powder and flour.

Whisk egg yolks and sugar until sugar dissolves.

Add in oil, mix well. Followed by orange juice, mix well too.

Resift the (flour and baking powder) into the egg yolk batter. Mix until combined.

Whisk the egg whites until foamy.

Add in 70g sugar gradually into the egg whites while whisking. Whisk until the whites are satin and in peak form.

Fold the meringue (whites) into the yolk batter in 3 batches.

Pour into the mould and bake in the preheated oven 170C for 40 mins, and lower to 160C for the last 10mins.

Invert the mould immediately, and unmould when it's completely cold.
