I like 茶碗蒸し a lot,and I mean a lot!
Steamed egg with prawns,a bigger version of chawanmushi.This one has eggs,thousand years egg,prawns,chicken,gingko nut,shitake mushroom.(ピータン、海老、ささ身、銀杏、しいたけ)
茶碗蒸し、私も大好き!こんなにたくさん食べられたら幸せ〜♡

To: raycheal Thank you!Yes,getting too greedy,but I always end up not getting enough with a chawanmushi,so this is a better idea,and also good for more people eating!You are right,too many eggs is not good,won't do this too often!Thank you for resnap too!
To: yukaringg haha thanks,actually steamed egg in a bigger bowl is very popular in Chinese and south East Asian cooking,but we eat this spooning on the rice rather than a side dish.I like it done with the Japanese dashi,but it's always too small in a 茶碗,so this came up and perfect for me,not entirel
To: yukaringg entirely my idea,I've seen it somewhere done before.My mum does this with mince pork and salt egg yolk,and Vietnamese add mung bean noodle too,so many different versions!Thank you for the resnaps too!

To: romie Glad you like this!Yes,we usually share our dishes placed in centre of the table,I like this especially with rice,I am sure different ingredients will work here too,depends on what you like.Less washing up too!
