Watercress and pork dumplings
Quite popular in here,but I guess not many other people know we made dumplings with watercres(クレソン).It's actually one of my favorite.Also has mince pork in it,but much less than the vegetable.

Yes,my favorite gyoza with watercress!
We call watercress 西洋菜,but actually we regard it as Chinese vegetable now,many Chinese love it.Ours look the same as the foreign kind,but I don't know if there is any difference between them in term of flavor ,it's never available in Hong Kong.
Please try this too,I know it's easy to get watercress in Japan,I also love gyoza with 香菜 ,but remember this one has much more vegetable in it,3(veg blanched,squeezed and chopped):1(meat).in volume.
I saw you made gyoza too,we are gyoza friends indeed,we have similar wrapping too,your's excellent!!I don't have a favorite style,everytime is different,depends on mood!

Thanks for the comment!I guess watercress dumplings are lesser known,but please try,it's very delicious!
Like I said👆,watercress is widely available in HK,grown in China,it's regarded as Chinese veg now,we eat it often!But the foreign type is never available here,although they look the same with ours,I never know if they taste the same.
When you make,blanch the veg in salt water,refresh in ice water,them squeeze out liquid,I am sure you know!

Thank you again!! Gyoza is really delicious with aromatic veg,especially with watercress,I couldn't stop eating,please try if you have the mood too,just remember more veg than meat,the ratio is around 3(veg blanched,squeezed and chopped):1(meat).in volume!
Thank you,I am glad you still hang around for me even I have gone missing,I am still a little busy to cook,but I will gradually post more here.I learned many things the past weeks,can't wait to show everyone!!
Actually wanton is our local food,水餃子 is more popular in northern China,but still many places serve it here,I will find the best one for you if you come!
I am a fan of shrimp paste too,I always order Cantonese dim sums which feature it,we can become foodie friends!!
