Yukari San's 焼き林檎 ☆

Yukari's San baked apples might look like a simple homemade dessert,but it's so delicious,all those lovely soft apple flesh,mixed with rum,butter,raisins,cinnamon sugar,I wonder anyone could resist this.I could not find 紅玉,or any other suitable tart apple here,I just used royal gala,but still great

in here!I also cut it up and served because it doesn't look as good as the 紅玉.One important thing Yukari San suggested,"have this with vanilla icecream!",I did,I saved my last homemade vanilla icecream for this!
Thank you Yukari San,this one is sticking with me all winters!

Sorry to keep you waiting for the whole version of this photo,and I hope it doesn't disappoint you.Actually this is a homey dessert and suppose not dish up like this,but the colour of the apple's skin didn't look very appetizing after baked,that why I had to think of a way serving this without show

showing the skin,it was very challenging for me,I am glad you approve,it's your dessert,and I hate to mess up!My ideas always comes from all media,I love food too much,and I'm willing to spent time observing,I am sure that's what you do,you are doing very good yourself,pls was trust me!
My icecream

machine is a low tech electronic one,that need to be "pre-frozen" in the freezer,but it worked beautifully!But let me know if you want to make nice quenelle of ice cream,I'll send you a video.
About the apples,cooking apples are not good sell in HK,people just don't cook western food much,instead th

they ask for sweet crispy type to eat .Royal gala is good for it's big apple flavour,but no need for you to care about this I reckon,you have load of good Japanese apples!Thank you for resnap!
