Peel and slice your apples and drizzle the lemon juice over the top of them, in a large saucepan place the water, brown sugar, granulated sugar, nutmeg and cornstarch(only if you have Bramley)

and bring to a boil cook for about 1 min then add the apple and cook over a medium heat for around 10min until the apple is nice and soft then add the butter off the heat and let it cook.
