Before I went to Italy,I have never encountered this,but at Venice,I saw this in the windows of a few places,whether it is tradition or something to attract tourists(especially Americans),that I don't know,all I know is,flat bread rolled around some meat,cheese and salad could not be bad.
It's a shame I didn't try any at Venice,everytime I saw them I was still full.
I tried to make it at home,flat bread is similar to pizza,stuffings are roast beef(homemade),provolone(cheese),
rocket and truffle crema.

I have never eaten this in Italy,so I guess it's a pizza base,(I am not familiar with making tortilla,may be made without yeast..),rolled out so it's thin enough,baked and then wrapped all the good stuffs inside,really good enough to have everywhere,picnic,beach,work...Easy to eat too!
