I love barbecue ribs,such a pity I don't have a barbecue,so this is the best I could do with my oven.The combination of this sauce is my favorite,some ingredients may seems strange,but I assure you that it totally works!
Barbecue sauce : Oil,garlic,onion,cumin,chili,apple,
tomato paste, whiskey, water(or chicken stock), Worcester sauce, cayenne, paprika, cinnamon,coffee(instant),cocoa powder,dried mustard, honey, vinegar,sugar,soy sauce,seasoning.
I absolutely agree!Although I admire your life style,I think protein is also essential for your sport activities,little meat won't hurt and ribs are always delicious too,please try sometime!Thank you so much for the resnap!

Can't beat a real open air barbecue,especially with that smoky aroma!Anyway this is not bad at all,and with a homemade sauce,you could accentuate the flavors that you like most,and in my case,apple and whiskey.I hope you understand this,I was too lazy to write in details,but it's more or less the or
order you add the ingredients,and please adjust according to your liking too.But I am a little surprise you didn't find it strange adding coffee and cocoa powder,and also soy sauce,but they all have their use.Cumin is essential too,adding a warm smoky note,you will understand once you tried!The list
may seems long,but like you said,you have most of them at home already,so please get a bottle of whiskey,or bourbon!

That's really depends on how you like it.The best way to treat ribs(or pork chop,chicken)is to put them in brine(salt water)overnight,that makes it stay juicy,but that's lots of work.So for thicker ribs,I would marinade for few hrs,I'm not keen on heavily marinaded food,and too long will draw out mo
moisture too,also the ribs I use are small ones,so I just season it not too long before cooking.And ribs need slow cooking to tenderized,so I sear it in the wok,brush on the BBQ sauce,place on a tray,covered with tinfoil and baked in low heat oven,after an hr,I remove tinfoil,brush again with sauce
and spray some oil too,turning it and do this a few times until it's tender and takes on the colour.2-3 hrs.At the end the ribs is flavorful enough.That's just the way I do it,I know some people do the grilling it at the end,so please tell me if you have better ways too!Talking about chocolate,I hav

I like American barbecue ribs too,but I don't have a open air barbecue,so I used oven,it's almost as good!
Most BBQ sauces have similar ingredients,but I love the flavour of apple and whiskey,so I add more.Spices are important too,especially cumin,it makes it r
really aromatic.It's also common to add coffee and chocolate in many sauces in South American,it gives a smoky and sweet note.My ribs are small,so no need to marinade,just brush on before putting in oven,then cover with tinfoil,it needs long roasting with low heat in oven,remove tinfoil after 1 hr,
brush the sauce again,do this a few times,turning it too,until it's tender and have nice colour,2-3 hrs.If you use thicker ribs,pleases marinade for a few hrs before roasting.Roast ribs are delicious too aside from stewing,please try!

I rarely drink,but my cupboard is full of alcohol that I could cook with,I especially love this BBQ sauce with more obvious whiskey and apple taste,and I did use the "響" whiskey,it must be a good whiskey then since
