Hi ;) This is "Louisiana style hot bisket" ! I got the recipe and tried it . I think I missed something ... I thought it will more " rise " and getting big but it wasn't . Could u give me some help ??
To: kanadepp Thank you! :-) It looks indeed like dough that hasn't risen enough...it looks very compact and should be fluffy....
Exact reason for "miss-rising" is hard to give here, could be the yeast was not potent enough any longer, type of yeast used - fresh or dried yeast makes a big differen

私もあれから何度か作りました。
生地を一度捏ねたあと台に載せ広げ、折り紙の様に10回ほど折りたためば綺麗な層になりました。型で抜かずにザックリ切って焼いても雰囲気でます^ - ^
旦那が言うには、
このビスケットを上手く焼ければいつでも南部に嫁げるそうです・・・
て、言われてもねぇ(~_~;)
星条旗はこの為に用意しておりました!
