Golden Gai is one of the places I wan to visit in Tokyo. My English teacher recommended. There must be a good recommendation in a guide book for foreigners.
If you are still in Japan, I recommend you to eat Haagen-Dazs "華もち" flavors which were just released on Feb. 24, seasonal limited and Haagen-Dazs's very first attempt of Mochi and ice cream combination. The taste doesn't matter, just a good memory as you can't take them back, can you? They are avail
Tks!! Is there the only one Ramen shop at Golden Gai? It's name happen to be "Nagi 凪"? Did you go there to eat ramen? The purpose of most people who go there is to visit unique bars, isn't it?
I'm not sure if it's the only ramen place in golden Gai. Yes it's name is Nagi. We went specifically to look for this ramen place. The broth is brewed with chicken and they add anchovies. And yes most people go to that area to bar hop.
Be prepared to wait at lunch and dinner hours cos this place is tiny - the stairs are scary steep and small. The ramen counter seats 9 and everything is super squashed
I wouldn't mind a whole bowl of those noodles instead of ramen?? ←Sorry this sentence is beyond my English ability 😣. It means"You like flat noodles only the case when it's used for ramen? "
I like any kinds of flat noodles from tagliatelle to 河粉 and had thought how nice it could be if the flat noodles are used for ramen so that I must love Nagi's!!! The only thing I don't like about ramen shop is "Eat up and go away!" atmosphere.🏃💨 Anyway Tks!
They are available at convenience stores 🏪!
Douitashimashite.( You are welcome!)
