Shortbread Biscuits

材料・調味料
Plain flour
150 g
Butter
100 g
Sugar
50 g
Vanilla essence, optional
1 tsp
作り方

Chop flour and butter together and rub into small crumbs.

Add sugar and work together to form a firm dough.

Wrap in plastic and rest in fridge for 20 minutes.

Roll out onto a sugared bench top.

Cut shapes and bake on a dry baking tray for approximately 20 minutes at 180C.

For chocolate shortbreads, replace 40 g of the flour with cocoa powder.

ポイント

Once you have one...you can't stop. Chocolate ones are my favourite. I also sprinkle extra sugar on the top of the biscuits before baking to give them extra crunch.
