がんも、こんにゃく、大根の煮物/菜の花と麩のからし味噌和え

Received wonderful gift from the friendly couple,Nami and Koji San.Not something I am too familiar with but I tried to make something anyway.with the 丁子麩,I made a 菜の花と麩のからし味噌和え, like it suggests on the packing,I could not find 菜の花,but I used something similar.And the 赤い/仁保こんにゃくwhich the first time I see in this red colour,I made a 煮物 with my leftover がんも.I don't know what's the best shape to cut ,so I made a mix.Both of them are very delicious,I always love simple washoku,I enjoy this meal very much,and I learned something new,thank you Nami and Koji San!

麩のバッケージに書いてあったこのあえものは滋賀県の郷土料理です😊

I am very touched with your super kind words,can't express how happy I am!
Truly thankful for the wonderful gifts,they are not something I am familiar with,but it gave me good chance to learn more about local Japanese cooking,I never get tired of it!I find some reference from the internet and made two dishes,I thought it is safer to do more simple ones,but they turned out to be delicious.I haven't seen red 蒟蒻 before,it's so special.I always want to make a 煮物 with my leftover がんも,they found good partners!I also found too many ways of cutting it,I really don't know which is best,so I did a mix,I love triangular ones most!
About the 和え dish,I am always a big fan of miso and からし,so it's not hard to find it very satisfying for me!
I have also been looking at Nami and Koji San's cooking,all look as good as professional's,I wish I could cook like you!

I just love trying and testing new thing,and in the world of food,there is new knowledge to learn everyday!
