Did this long time ago but never had a chance to post it. It's so hard ordering メンチカツ and not とんかつ in a restaurant,therefore I rarely have this,but it's a good idea to try this at home.塩昆布 make everything taste better,this is no exception...
Thank you Makiko San!I thought 塩昆布 make everything tasty,so I try mince katsu with it,not surprised it is tasty at all.Like yours,I also have cabbage in if too,really love it! Me too,still like a child,I can't give up on fried food,although eating less these days.We have specialize tokatsu restaurant,tokatsu is always big sell in HK,mince katsu is less popular.I myself rarely have tonkatsu in restaurants at HK,like most food,I like to tackle myself. Talking about メンチカツ,吉祥寺 and eating in the street,have you tried 'Satou'?I always want to try but there is forever long queue....

That's right,サトウ!I heard about it for years,every time I was in there it's full of waiting people,one day I have to be patient too,I really love to try!I also want to try this paletas that you had too,they look so appealing !

Whenever I hear about 吉祥寺,I thought of Tayuko San instantly,it's your territory(not hard to imagine because both you and the place are full of style and charm!). Still not much luck with Satou though,I need to make up my mind and join the forever long queue next time! I was also very excited that you and Makiko San couple finally met up,I was fortunate enough to meet them last year at Kyoto too,they really are the kindest people! Actually I had left you a few comments at your earlier posts,but you didn't reply,I realize you are taking it slow with SD and felt I shouldn't bother you too much.I fully understand,SD could be very time consuming,I also have to regulate my activities so I won't spend all my time here.So really no pressure,I'll glad just to have you looking at what I make,and of course,I won't miss any of your amazing dishes too!
