Fire crackers

Fresh whole jalapenos

Cream cheese
12 oz
Hot Italian sausage links
3 (half pound)
Buffalo cheddar cheese
6 slices
Bacon
12 strips

Cut the stems off the jalapenos and halve them.

Remove casings from sausage. On medium to medium high heat in a skillet, cook the sausages to the point where the pink just disappears.

Chop or tear by hand the sausage into small bits (a little smaller then the size of a skittle).

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and sausage.

Fill the halved jalapenos with the cream cheese and sausage mixture.

Cut small strips from the buffalo cheddar slices and top them long wise on top of the filling.

Cut the strips of bacon in half. Wrap each half strip around a stuffed halved jalapeno.

Put jalapenos on a baking sheet and cook at 375° until the bacon looks done (approx 30 mins).
ポイント

I like to fill the halved jalapenos with my bare hands.
