Ham and cheddar sandwich with homemade piccalilli,split pea soup

This one started off with a bottle of English pickle piccalilli that I made,wanted to use it up and I thought of turning them into a spread,adding ham and cheddar so it became an English style sandwich.Gave the meal an extra dose of English essence with their split pea soup.

I still haven't made picalilli,but it's great post for me! I could know more way to use piccalilli now! I'm sandwiches lover,I'll definitely try to use for my sandwiches!!

About split pea soup,I am not exactly too familiar as well,but this is v

very straight forward,and not hard to imagine how it tastes.Very similar to lots of beans soup,but pea flavour.Traditional it's made with ham hock,but I omit it because I already have ham in the sandwich,I simply used chicken stock,still good and comforting,complete my British theme too!
