Hi Nami! So glad you like this one,it's just one of my weekday casual dinner,I haven't had curry for a long time so I I made this one a little special.I know Okinawa people put goya in their curry and it's so delicious. Goya is such wonderful veg for summer,I love your ideas with goya too! Have a nice weekend!
Hi Makiko! Thank you! I haven't seen many curries with bitter things,so I think this one is very interesting, that's what Okinawa people do too,and the sweet corn also provide some sweetness, these contrasting flavors make this curry really wonderful!
Thank you for your comments again,I have to to say you always provide me some interesting points to talk about, and that's not easy... I don't know many ways of handling goya too, apart from blanching it and sprinkle salt on it to draw out the bitterness, but for me that's enough.I like goya because of its bitterness,it's something you get to appreciate while you grow older,I used to hate it and it took me a long time...So don't force yourself,if you are not fond of it,just don't make it.You are still young and I guarantee lots of you appetite or preference of food is going to change,it will come so naturally,I am telling you from experience! This one works wonder for me,goes so well with rice, curry is something I make from time to time,I never get bored with it!
このカレーは心を射抜かれた!😍
ゴーヤ使いが天下一品だな〜
苦味が和らいでちょうどイイね!
