Place one cup of corn flour in a bowl and slowly add the warm milk till the dough gets softer.

Add salt to taste. Add the teaspoon of butter ( let it rest for 3 minutes). Knead the dough till smooth and easy to handle.

It should not stick to the fingers. If require add water for a softer dough. Take a small bowl of the dough and make a round shape manually. Preheat a pan and cook the corn cakes on both sides until golden or deep fry them in hot oil.
