Chicken rice,Thai style

Still craving for chicken rice,went for a Thai style this time.The rice itself is alway the main focus,but slightly different from the Singaporean version,this one calls for turmeric,along with pandan leaf etc.Also a different sauce to dip chicken with,made with bean paste,chili,fish sauce....

Ever since I was a child,I have never stop loving chicken rice!It's usually Singapore style for me,but recently this Thai style is getting more popular,so I tried making it.
You could see the difference in my comment above,and I think both are good!
It really is hard to tell why chicken rice is so good if you haven't tried the authentic ones,but luckily we have very good ones in HK even they are south East Asian food.With the right ingredients,it's not hard to make at home too,it just takes time.I hope you could soon try them,in Thailand and Singapore,or even HK!
Yes,for Thai style,turmeric is added.Pandan leaf is for aroma,very addictive!!Pandan leaf is use throughout the south east Asia,their food are very similar.

Honestly it's not something I am familiar with,I had been to Thailand but I can't recall I have chicken rice there,there are Thai places in HK that serve yellow chicken rice,I thought they are authentic.You must know better than me.
