Hi Makiko!Very nice and simple dish,brings back good memories from my Belgium trip,we could enjoy a whole pot of best quality mussels without costing too much!We don't have local mussels,the import ones are good but expensive! I also rarely see mussels when I was in Japan,I thought Japan doesn't produce it, I know 岡山 now,you really have all different kinds of amazing seafood in Japan!
Hi Rick! I didn't know Japanese mussels too. I was surprised when I found them. They are very big and high quarity. You have been to Belgium. Oh, I'm envy. You like Europe. Then, in Ise, we can eat whole oyster without costing too much!

私が以前行った少し高級なスーパー(笑)は三重県産のムール貝があって飛びついたよ〜😄
