Boil whole potatoes for 10-15 minutes until tender but not soft or falling appart. Drain and put in water bath of cold water and ice.

Cut potatoes into thick 1/2 inch slices and drizzle with a little olive oil and salt and pepper.

Preheat grill to 400. Cook the potatoes for 2-3 minutes and then flip amd turn the grill heat down to medium. Continue to cook for a few minutes more until tender and almost done.

Add the spicy red pepper spread on the top side of the potatoe and close the lid for the last minute. Remove and top with fresh basil for garnish.
