Whole chicken is steamed,cooled,meat is tore up with hands and mixed with a sauce made with 沙薑(a aromatic ginger type of root plant),sesame paste,soy sauce,fish sauce,sesame oil,sesame....More work beforehand,but so easy to eat!

To: Trivia36 hi,Trivia!Not bad this one,just like a salad,but the 沙薑is the dominant taste here,and it's a Cantonese ingredient,I haven't seen many dishes made from it outside Canton,could be hard to find for you.It comes in powder form,and if you couldn't find it in Chinatown,I'll send you some!

To: marikoszk thank you!It's蒸し雞,but I steamed whole chicken in a 中華鍋,then shred the meat when cooled.I made the sauce with 沙薑粉(sand ginger powder),練りごま,うす口醬油,ニンニク,ナンプラー,砂糖,ごま油and finish with lots of ごま.The 沙薑粉is really tasty here and it's important,if you can't find in Tokyo,I will send you some!
